A trusted surgeon in the Atlanta area for over 30 years, Dr. German M. Reyes M.D., F.A.C.S, is a board certified general surgeon with over 35 years of experience in the full spectrum of abdominal, breast, and gastrointestinal surgery, and routinely uses minimally invasive surgical techniques that greatly reduce the pain, risk, and length of recovery time for many patients.

Over 35 Years of Experience

Dr. Reyes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a member of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (S.A.G.E.S).

Dr. German M. Reyes received his medical degree from The University of Santiago de Compostela and completed his post graduate surgical education at the Ponce Regional Medical Center in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Upon completion, Dr. Reyes served in the United States Army as a military surgeon and received the Bronze Star, the Army Commendation Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, and the Kuwait Liberation Medal for his service.

In practice in Clayton and Henry county Georgia since 1985, Dr. Reyes is on active surgical staff at Southern Regional Medical Center and Piedmont Henry Hospital.
